Monarchs read this week's news!

The School Site Council monitors our categorical programs that supplement the school budget and our School Plan and help make important decisions.

Parents are very important and can make some of the best decisions and we encourage our students to let their parents know about this council!

IUSD is participating in the Seamless Summer Meal
Option during the 2021-2022 school year and this
program provides students with breakfast, lunch, dinner
and snacks at no additional cost to families. In order to
continue receiving additional District funding for this
special program, families are required to complete the
“Alternate Income Form”. The income form will not only
provide free meals, it may also assist with after school
academic and enrichment programs, state and federal
funding for school budgets, resources for classrooms and
much more! In addition, our district is having a
competition between elementary and secondary schools
where the two winning schools will have the In-N-Out
truck for lunch. Let's bring it to Morningside!!!

In our continued commitment to serving our community and providing up-to-date information, we have some brief updates in this week's message.

Greetings Parents please see this announcement for important news about our Back to School Night, 9/16/21. At 5:30 PM we will have our Principal Informational Parent Meeting & at 6 PM you may visit your student's classes. The Schedule is posted here along with Zoom Ids' & Passcodes. Thank you for taking the time to complete the family income form. This survey should take you less than 2 minutes to complete and helps the District obtain additional funding in order to provide you students with the highest quality education – funding for computers, books, school supplies and more!
There are only 5 steps to complete this application and only one application is needed per household. Families can add all enrolled students in Inglewood USD on a single application.
