Students can only receive credits for a class once. Repeat classes cannot receive double credit. However, a student may repeat a class to improve a grade.

Elective Courses broaden students’ experiences. They are designed to provide a more complete curricular program of concept acquisition, subject matter, competence, skill development or enrichment.

Students who are 16 years of age or in the 11th or 12th grade may enrolled in SCROC. To receive Work Experience credits, students must submit a completed application, attend related instruction classes and complete all other requirements as outlined by the instructor.

Those students who are preparing for college/university should take additional courses such as foreign language, science, math and fine arts and/or advanced placement classes to meet UC/CSU requirements.
