Hi everyone, my name is Kassandra Villalta and I am the EAOP college adviser this academic year! I provide both individual and whole school services regarding college preparation. UCLA'S EAOP program services include individual and group academic advising, transcript evaluations, college application assistance, financial aid and scholarship assistance, college presentations and more! You can find me in the College and Career center (T-104) Monday - Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm. TRIO-Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program designed to support students throughout high school to continue on to college. We provide the following services: academic advising, academic workshops, college and financial aid application assistance, scholarship information, field trips and college tours, summer programs, tutoring, and mentoring. Upward Bound provides free fundamental support to participants in their participants for college entrance, with the goal of increasing the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. We provide the following services: weekly academic advising, college campus field trips, college preparation workshops, Saturday academies, 6 week summer programs, and the chance to network with students from 7 different high schools. Many of our students take community college courses at El Camino as 9th-12th graders. Luckily, the El Camino College Counselor, Mr. Sergio Pineda, visits MHS every 2 weeks to assist in the college application process, both for dual enrollment and post-high school enrollment.  You can find Mr. Sergio Pineda at the Parent Center the following dates:
